Q. What is Scout Sports LLC?
A. Scout Sports is the top scouting agency in Fastpitch Softball. We cover the entire United States evaluating potential college prospects for collegiate teams .We produce National Player Rankings, Video and Individual Scouting Reports on potential collegiate prospects.


Q. What are your hours and contact information?

A. We are open from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. CST Monday-Friday. You can reach us by calling or texting 972-345-2474 or by e-mail: mark@scout-sports.com

Please note that are operations are very mobile at times, so you may be reaching Scout Softball during travel. We are typically able to speak to you at the above hours, but our travel schedule varies.


Q. How do College & Professional teams use Scout's services?
A. College coaches use Scout every day to discover prospects. They use Scout to cross check players who show interest in their program. For example, if a 9th grader e-mails a college coach expressing interest in their program, the coach will use Scout as a reference to qualify the student-athlete's abilities. Scout helps college coaches qualify prospects in an effort to assist them in the discovery process.


Q. What is your cancellation policy?

A. Refunds are not issued by Scout Sports LLC under any circumstance.

If a player follows the cancellation procedure and meets the requirements set forth, they will be eligible to use their credit towards a future event. If a player needs to cancel their participation in an event you will need to follow our cancellation procedure below.

1. You must provide written notice of cancellation to mark@scout-sports.com at least 7-days before the scheduled start of an event.

2. If you provide 7-days notice of cancellation you may use 100% of your credit towards a future Scout event within 6-months.

3. We will issue a person coupon code equal to your credit that you may use to register for a future event within 6-months. This code will be e-mailed to you and will expire 6-months from the date of the previously scheduled event.

Failure to provide 7-days written notice will result in no transfer of credit, regardless of your situation.

If Scout cancels an event for any reason, including incliment weather, we will re-schedule the event within 6-months and within a 75-mile radius of the previous event's location. If a player is unable to attend the make-up date, then they will need to follow the cancellation procedures to transfer credit to another event. There are no refunds given in the event of a cancellation, only credit will be transferred to another event.


Q. How do I become listed in your prospect database and national player rankings?
A. You will need to attend a Scout National College Exposure Camp to be evaluated.


Q. Why do I need a skills video?
A. A skills video is the quickest way to promote yourself to college coaches, especially with a Scout Premium Skills Video. A proper skills video will help you control your first impression with college coaches and professional scouts. When you film your video with Scout your abilities will be accurately represented and instantly available to college coaches.
